These shirts were made for wearin'

Back in the day, 1966 to be precise, Nancy Sinatra scored a pop music hit with "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'". (No link provided because of all the scantily clad ladies). The upshot of the lyrics was / is that a scorned lady will use her boots to trample her male antagonist. She was on the warpath and had the boots to prove it. The song reached #1 and finished the year at #7. For the record, I was alive in 1966 but not very old.

Well, and I hope I'm not reaching too far for an analogy, like Nancy's boots were made for walkin', t-sciple.com shirts were made for wearin'.

We - I - constantly struggle to imagine and give birth to great designs that not only look good but project the Gospel. On the surface, it might seem like t-sciple.com is in the Christian tee shirt business. After all, we offer over 300 (and counting) designs that glorify Jesus, in sizes up to 6xl.

But what we're really "selling" - if you can use that term - is evangelism.

It's not so much the design of our shirts that matters as much as the message. Our antagonist is Satan, who poses a very real threat, and our weapon is the Good News. Wearing a t-sciple.com Christian shirt - as innocuous as it seems - is actually a fairly public act of war.

These shirts were made for wearin'. And they can't accomplish the task, left in a drawer or closet- or your shopping cart.

Right now we're offering 3 shirts for the price of 2; on a per shirt basis, about as much as some folks spend on lunch.

Yes, we'd love you to order some shirts from us, but what we really want is for you to carry the message of Jesus into your world; at the grocery store, Little League field, or dance recital.

What are you waiting for?

These shirts were made for wearin'.
